🛫 This trip, our family pinned a trip to Koh Samui. We started our trip to Samui with Bangkok Airways (I will review Samui Airport next time). After that, we contacted the car rental company counter that we had booked in advance. After checking the car and signing the documents, we were ready to roll...
🚙 The Lamai Samui, formerly known as The Meridien Koh Samui Resort & Spa, is about 12 km from Samui Airport. If you don't want to rent a car because you don't have many plans to go out to many places, you can use the hotel's limousine service for 900 baht per trip.
💒 When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist provided very good service. We booked The Verandah Room, which is the starting room type, but the hotel upgraded us to The Pavillion Pool Villa (I'll whisper that they gave our child a teddy bear 😁😁). Let's go... Let's take a look at the room we stayed in... The Pavillion Pool Villa is 105 square meters in size. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom room with His & Her sinks and a private pool. For those of us who love swimming, I must say that the pool is quite large. It's really great!
📌 Another highlight here is the Ocean Pier, a long walkway into the sea. When you walk to the edge, you will see small fish swimming to greet you. In the evening, it is perfect for sitting and drinking while watching the sunset. Oh my!!! It is so romantic. 🥂❤️ If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay on Koh Samui, try keeping The Lamai Samui as another option.
