Kontohira-gu Shrine is one of Japan's must-see attractions. It has 1,368 steps leading up to Okusha Shrine.

Although the hike was exhausting, it was definitely worth it. I'll definitely try Mount Fuji next time.
For those who can't walk but still want to ascend, there are sedan chairs available for an additional fee.

There are many hot springs nearby, so be sure to relax in one after your visit. 👍
