Kongobu-ji Temple is the head temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect in the northern part of Wakayama Prefecture.

The altitude is 800m, which is a little high. This area is also a summer resort, and many Buddhist facilities are lined up in the rich nature.

The first photo is a road called "Jabara-michi", which is also a famous spot for autumn leaves. It was taken in the summer, but the trees were colored and it was very beautiful ✨ During the autumn leaves season 🍁, it is apparently lit up at night...!

The second photo is the largest rock garden in Japan, "Banryutei" ♪

Access: About 15 minutes by bus from "Koyasan Station" on the Koyasan Cable Car.
