Island get away to Poda Island

The island of Koh Poda is one of the most visited in the Krabi archipelago. Long-tail boats take around 25 minutes to get there from Ao Nang, which is only six kilometers away. A return ticket costs around 300 baht per person; notice that if you travel alone, you must wait until the long-tail boat is fully loaded according to its capacity before departing.

It is every inch the lovely tropical escape, surrounded by palm and pine trees and nearly fully surrounded by a soft white sand beach. A coral reef with a diversity of aquatic life is about 20 meters off the shore. The island's alluring combination of superb snorkeling, scenery, and smooth sand attracts a lot of snorkelers and sea kayakers, but it's not too crowded.
