The relaxing feeling of being embraced by KLCC at Kuala Lumpur Grand Hyatt

During this period, I’m sharing all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Malaysia over the past two years, starting with the Grand Hyatt in KL. Common hotel brands can basically be found in Kuala Lumpur, with the downside being they are relatively older, but the upside is affordable prices (though I was a bit shocked looking at prices from August to September, possibly due to the full visa waiver; a standard room at the Grand Hyatt costs over 2k+). I’ve previously stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, and Banyan Tree, each with its own characteristics, but when it comes to the view, all have to give way to the Grand Hyatt.

Its location is right in the middle of SURIA KLCC (the shopping mall under the Petronas Twin Towers) and Pavilion, two must-visit malls in KL. If you don’t mind the heat, it’s just a few hundred meters from the Grand Hyatt to these two places, and you can choose to walk via the skybridge. Because of this, its view is more open than the Mandarin Oriental, which is right next to the Twin Towers, and the Four Seasons across the street. This time I stayed in the Twin Tower View Suite, amazed by its large size and expansive view; just one bathroom is over 40 square meters... The room’s decor exudes a timeless luxury that’s about 10 years old, truly enduring. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a golden 200-degree panoramic view of the KLCC cityscape. The bathroom is fully marble-tiled, making the space look transparent and grand. Soaking in the bathtub at night while watching the illuminated Twin Towers is much more enjoyable than trying to find a spot outside in the heat to take photos.
