Was on Kuala Lumpur for a short time and did not missed to make most of my time there.
From the airport you can take the KLIA Ekpres train going to KL Sentral train station in the city proper. The journey will take you about an hour. While on your way, you can see the Merdeka 118 which is the second tallest building in the world. Once you get to KL Sentral train station, you can easily access various types of public transportation going to any parts of the city. We just booked a Grab car going from one spot to another because I find it convenient and safe. Some drivers do not speak english though, but they are really polite.
When we arrived at the city center,we had our lunch at Pak Jen at Nu Sentral mall. Afterwards we headed to the National Museum of Malaysia. The ticket cost 5 MYR (£1). The museum has 4 galleries showcasing the early years of Malaysia up to its modern day era. There you will discover and understand why Malaysia is home to various lovely ethnicities.
And must not miss is the Petronas Tower. Even though it is no longer the world’s tallest building, it is still one of the top sought after tourist photo spots in the country. The Petronas Tower has its different beauty from day time, dusk, and night time. So you can never have enough photos of the tower. While in the area, you can also stroll around KLCC Park and Suria KLCC mall.
After snapping photos of the tower, we went to the famed Changkat Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor food market. The area is prone to heavy traffic especially during evenings,so plan your trips accordingly.
In between snapping photos from one point to another, there are also a lot of cafes and refreshment kiosk while you rest and recharge and have your caffein fix.☕️☀️
