๐ REXKL Review
I visited REXKL near Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown. ๐๏ธโจ Originally a theater, it was renovated and transformed into a multi-purpose cultural space. The exterior retains the feel of an old theater, but once inside, the vintage yet hip vibe was instantly apparent.
With a bookstore, cafe, bar, restaurant, and exhibition space, the interior was filled with a variety of things to see and do, so I could easily spend hours just browsing. ๐โ๏ธ๐ธ The bookstore, in particular, had a unique layout, making for great photo opportunities. I also enjoyed a coffee at the cafe after browsing the books, which really helped me enjoy the atmosphere. Weekends often feature flea markets, performances, and pop-up events, making each experience unique and enjoyable.
There was also a space where you could choose from meals, snacks, and drinks. It was a great place to come with friends and chat over a meal and drink. ๐ด The casual and relaxed atmosphere attracted many foreign tourists, and it seemed to be a popular date spot for local youth.
The only downside is that it can get quite crowded when there are a lot of people, making it difficult to find a seat. The open-air design, rather than the air conditioning, can make it a bit hot on hot days. ๐ฅต Still, I was satisfied with the unique atmosphere and the variety of content I could enjoy all at once.
๐๐ป Overall, if you like "multi-cultural spaces + hip vibes," this is a must-visit in KL. ๐๐ปโ๏ธ
