📍 BookXcess @ REXKL Review
I visited BookXcess inside REXKL in Kuala Lumpur 📚✨ The space, renovated from an old theater, immediately felt unique as soon as I walked in. The high ceilings and labyrinthine bookshelves made it feel like I was walking through a book world. The tiered seating and nooks and crannies made it easy to pick up a book and read comfortably, and there were plenty of photo opportunities. 📸
The selection of books was mainly English, with a wide range of genres, including fiction, art, travel, and children's books. Best of all, the prices were quite reasonable, so many customers ended up choosing multiple books. 💸 The smell of books and the vintage atmosphere of the building gave it a distinct charm that set it apart from other bookstores.
The spacious interior made it feel spacious despite the crowds, and there were many families with children. 👨👩👧👦 There were people quietly reading, taking photos, and tourists browsing, but it all felt natural and seamless. However, it gets quite crowded on weekend evenings, so if you want to enjoy it leisurely, I recommend weekdays or mornings.
👉🏻 Overall, BookXcess REXKL is more than just a bookstore; it feels like a cultural space where books and art coexist. It's the perfect place to shop for books, take sentimental photos, and just sit and relax for a while. It's a must-visit spot when you're in KL. 🙆🏻♀️
