📍 BookXcess @ REXKL Review
I visited BookXcess, located inside REXKL, a hip cultural complex in Kuala Lumpur. 📚✨ As soon as I walked in, the bookshelves stacked all the way to the ceiling immediately caught my eye. It felt like I'd entered a cross between a library and a maze. The tiered layout made it fun to walk between the shelves, and there were plenty of photo spots everywhere, so there were plenty of people taking pictures. 📸
The selection of books was incredibly diverse. They had a wide selection of English books, art books, cookbooks, and children's books. The discounts were quite generous, making it cheaper than the regular price. 💸 This allowed me to choose books I wouldn't normally pick up without feeling pressured. There was also a quiet space where I could sit and read, making it easy to browse, pick a book, and read it straight away.
While the overall atmosphere is calming, it can get crowded on weekends. Still, the spacious interior kept things comfortable, and the unique interior design gave it a unique charm, even with the crowds. The only downside was that the bookshelves were stacked so high that some seemed like decorations, and others were difficult to reach. 🪜
👉🏻 Overall, BookXcess REXKL was a "book lover's paradise, a hot spot for photographers." I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick break during their KL trip or looking for a bookstore with a unique atmosphere. 🙆🏻♀️
