Went to Pasar Payang just to look…
30 minutes later: one batik, two kain pelikat, a bag of keropok lekor, and a slightly panicked bank account. 😅

Seriously, this place is batik heaven — colours, patterns, glittering kain everywhere! My inner makcik woke up and chose shopping.
“I’ll just buy one,” I said.
Now my luggage smells like keropok and confidence. 🤭

Also, who knew keropok lekor could come in so many shapes?
Soft, crunchy, spicy, vacuum-packed, air-fried… I considered starting an export business halfway through my tasting session. 😂

Pasar Payang: where you come for souvenirs and leave with a batik addiction and a kilo of fish crackers.
