A shrine located in Suizenji Jojuen Garden in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture
A sub-shrine of Izumi Shrine, which enshrines a branch of the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto
It was enshrined in January 1809 by Narizu, the 8th lord of the Kumamoto domain, the Hosokawa clan of Higo
In November 1838, the Inari shrine of Nihongi Palace, enshrined by Narizu's mother Yodai-in, was also enshrined
It is revered as the guardian deity of bountiful harvests, prosperous business, household safety, and road safety
Enter Suizenji Jojuen Garden, walk clockwise around the edge of the large pond in the center, and on your left you will find Izumi Shrine, and if you go further you will find Inari Shrine
