Yuantong Temple

#TravelChina Yuantong Temple is the largest and oldest temple in Yunnan Province. The highlight is the octagonal pavilion located in the middle of the Emerald Pool. Inside is the Thousand-Handed Guanyin. Most people come to pray for love and health. The temple is spacious, quiet, and beautiful. It is very pleasant to walk around. This temple is the center of three sects of Buddhism, combining Thai, Burmese, and Chinese temples.

🕰️bOpening hours: 08.00-17.00 hrs. Admission fee: 6 yuan
How to get there: Take the Metro Line 4 (yellow) and get off at North Railway Station, then change to Line 5 (green) and get off at Yuantongshan Station Ext. B1. Walk for about 991 meters.
