Enjoy Kusatsu Onsen with the snow

Kusatsu Onsen is even more beautiful in the snowy scenery. Locals are kind enough to allow tourists to bathe in public baths (such as Jizo no Yu), but after traveling in the cold, a hot spring feels really good. Also, all the buildings (restaurants, accommodation, hot springs) are all in one place, so it's not too difficult to get around even when it's snowing, which is another reason why we recommend Kusatsu in the winter. The combination of the snowy scenery and the steam rising from the town is somehow fantastical, and is sure to be a memorable experience!
