[Hokkaido] Crane watching and a day trip to the hot springs! Roadside Station Akan Tancho-no-Sato

Hokkaido, which boasts a vast area, is dotted with numerous roadside stations. One of them is the Akan Tancho no Sato roadside station on National Route 240. The most distinctive feature of this roadside station is that it has a day-trip hot spring. This is very much appreciated in Hokkaido, where winters are very cold. The Akan International Crane Center is located nearby, so in winter, it would be a good idea to warm up your body in this day-trip hot spring after observing the red-crowned cranes that have arrived.
