Nijo castle Kyoto

while in Kyoto, I went to nijo castle for half a day to explore since I saw that the views here were so good. also managed to learn a bit about the castle during my time here. do note that there is an entrance fee to be paid as well.

the castle is structured quite beautifully and it is in fact very huge! you can spend half a day walking around here and even exploring the gardens. take some time to reflect and also learn about the history of the castle over here. very educational and will recommend. suitable for families and friends. they do close quite early though so check out the opening hours before visiting.
