🏖️Nijo Castle in Kyoto, as the general's residence built by Tokugawa Ieyasu, still retains a strong Edo period style. As you enter the city, the breath of history hits you in the face. The magnificent Ninomaru Palace and the exquisite garden scenery complement each other, making you feel as if you have returned to the Japan of the past.
The Karamon Gate of Ninomaru Palace is very distinctive, with exquisite carvings and dazzling gold foil, exuding the symbol of power in the past. As you step into the hall, you can feel the simplicity and elegance of Japanese architecture. The screen paintings on the walls are delicate and elegant, showing the artistic beauty of the time.
The Ninomaru Garden is even more fascinating, with ponds, bridges and trees arranged in an orderly manner, creating a harmonious fusion of natural and man-made aesthetics. The scenery of the garden changes with each season, especially when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the whole city seems to be covered with a layer of pink gauze, romantic and charming.
🎫 Ticket information: Adult tickets are 600 yen, student tickets are discounted, and it is recommended to book in advance.
