[Kyoto Prefecture/Kenninji Temple] A temple with an astounding dragon

It was built by Eisai in 1202, modeled after Mount Baizhang in China.
The dry landscape garden is very picturesque. We were able to spend a relaxing time in this garden!

When you think of Kenninji Temple, the first thing that comes to mind is, of course, the "Two Dragons."
It was created by Junsaku Koizumi to commemorate the 800th anniversary of Kenninji Temple's founding.
Looking up at the ceiling, you can see the dragons, and their power is truly impressive!
