[Kyoto/Tips and Tricks] A nostalgic landscape of railway ruins and cherry blossom arches🌸

Keage Incline is a famous cherry blossom-lined street in Kyoto.

The cherry blossoms blooming along the abandoned railway are a sight to behold🌸✨

This popular spot is visited by many people every year from late March to early April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom🥰

During this time of year, come and enjoy the spectacular scenery that can only be seen here✨

📸 Tips for taking pictures of scenery without people

There are always a lot of people during the cherry blossom season, so if you want to take pictures of scenery without people, it's a must to come before sunrise!

◾️Before 5am in the morning
Many people with cameras gather and start reserving spots.
(By tacit agreement, they don't go beyond a certain line◎)

◾️Sunrise (around 5:30am)
Start taking pictures about 15 minutes after sunrise when there is no one on the tracks.
After a certain amount of time, everyone seems to move around freely.
The only chance to take pictures of scenery without people is during this time before they move around freely!

*The spots are shared, so if you are in this spot at this time, you can take a great photo☺️

(↑This is my experience in April 2023.)

The pale pink cherry blossoms that appear as the pitch black sky brightens are very beautiful✨
It's worth getting up early to try it😊📸
