Arashiyama Park Kameyama Area

Beautiful country to see with a wide river of boats paddling by and a bridge to cross. Cute little restaurants and shops surround both sides of the river with the bamboo forest located nearby. The river area is gorgeous towards sunset hours as the colors of the turquiose water and surrounding area get that 'golden hour glow'. Makes for a more laid back day, but the area does get quite busy midday, would recommend an early morning visit or afternoon/sunset visit to avoid crowds.
