Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, Japan is an ancient shrine built over a thousand years ago. It is dedicated to “Inari”, the god of rice. Foxes are thought to be Inari’s messengers, so there are many fox statues throughout the shrine grounds. It is famous for its tens of thousands of red torii gates.
🚊 Travel: Take the JR Nara Line and get off at Inari Station.
