There are many torii gates in Japan. The Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto has a thousand toriimotos. From the bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain, there are torii gates.

But I only walked half way from the foot of the mountain last time, and it seemed like I couldn’t see the end of the torii gate. Although it took 1 hour to walk, we only walked halfway to the middle of the mountain. There are torii gates along the road, and there are really check-in spots all around.

Fushimi Inari is really a worthwhile attraction, good for taking pictures.

Since this trip to see the torii, every time I travel to Japan I will be looking for a new torii photo spot.

So in 2023, I already have a wish to visit the Ukiwa Inari Shrine in Fukuoka.
