Kyoto, Japan: Solo Trip Guide 🇯🇵

I solo travelled around Japan for 6 weeks! Here is my ultimate guide to Kyoto ~ save this for your next trip! 🇯🇵

📍 Yasaka Shrine has free entry and doesn’t require a ticket! It’s located right by the Gion District and not too far from the river, so it’s easy to walk to. There are beautiful lanterns that come alive at night!

📍 Nishiki Market is a long street of shops, restaurants and more. It’s perfect for a rainy day because it’s all under cover. Here you can find all the souvenirs you want to buy your friends and family!

📍 Kiyomizu-dera is one of the most iconic sights in Kyoto. There are bright vermilion buildings and the temple is behind. It provides a wonderful view of the city too!

📍 Engine Ramen ~ I will never stop talking about this ramen restaurant. It’s the best ramen I’ve ever eaten and it’s incredible. Sometimes there will be queue at 4.30pm when it opens, but arrive a little later and you should be able to get in quickly.
