Yasaka Jinja Shrine, also known as Gion Jinja Shrine, is a Shinto Shrine in the Gion Ward of Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the oldest shrines in Japan. Yasaka Jinja Shrine was built in 656 during the Asuka Period, giving it hundreds of years of history. It is now designated as an important cultural property of Japan. The Shrine also hosts a major festival held every July, which is ranked as one of the three largest festivals in Japan. There are many small shrines scattered around the shrine. There are two large buildings inside. Yasaka Jinja Shrine is famous for praying for love ❤️ as it is the home of the god of love ❤️ for couples. It is a place where tourists can enjoy traditional art and experience Japanese culture that has been around for over a thousand years. It is a great place and definitely worth a visit.
