Ginkakuji Temple 🍁

Ginkakuji Temple contrasts with the glittering Kinkakuji Temple. Its official name is Higashiyama Jisho-ji Temple, but some people who see it for the first time may think, "Huh? Isn't it silver?" I'm one of them 😅
I'm not sure why it's not silver, but I think it's wonderful because of its appearance that exudes the unique Japanese "wabi-sabi" atmosphere 😊
The Kogetsudai and Ginsanda made of white sand combine with the austere Ginkakuji Temple to create a distinctive view ♪ I also think the garden scenery of Ginkakuji Temple, Togudo Hall, and Kinkyoike Pond are magnificent.
If you go up the temple grounds, which make use of the terrain at the foot of the mountain, you will come to an observation deck where you can see a panoramic view of the city beyond Ginkakuji Temple♪ The beautiful moss you will see along the way is also a must-see♪
Why not visit Ginkakuji Temple while strolling along the Philosopher's Path😊
