Taipei locals recommend attractions x Zhinan Palace

🌸 Zhinan Temple
If you've already taken the Maokong Gondola, consider making one stop along the way: Zhinan Temple. While some might consider it a less popular attraction, I find it truly worth exploring.

🚎 Transportation
• Most people choose to drive or ride a motorcycle up the mountain, offering greater freedom.
• But if you don't have transportation, don't worry! You can easily reach the temple by bus or by taking the Maokong Gondola.
• From the cable car, simply get off at Zhinan Temple Station. Although I was once asked by a staff member, "Why get off midway? There's nothing much to see there." 😢 It was a little disappointing, but after visiting, I truly recommend this place!

🙏 The Atmosphere of Zhinan Temple
• The temple is solemn and dignified, and the incense is abundant.
• Whether you're seeking a sincere visit or simply strolling the mountain, you'll experience a sense of tranquility and mystery. • The temple staff were also very friendly and readily answered any questions, making you feel particularly reassured.

🌄 Must-See Highlights
• From the high vantage point of Zhinan Temple, you can overlook the entire Taipei city.
• During the day, you can see lush green mountain scenery, while at night, it's ablaze with lights—each scene has its own unique charm.
• There's also a nearby walking trail where you can stroll, soak up the phytoncides, and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains.

While it's not as popular as Taipei 101 or the Maokong Cable Car itself, if you prefer a slower pace and are looking for a quiet escape, Zhinan Temple offers a completely different experience.

Next time you take the cable car, don't just rush through this stop—stop and walk—you might find something unexpected!
