KyotoTrip with my son
When we arrived by Shinkansen, we headed to Kyoto Tower right in front of us!
There's a tower so you won't get lost. The Japanese candles have a retro design, which is great🗼
The exterior is old, but the inside has been renovated.
The first floor has a stylish souvenir shop and a Tsujiri cafe.
The basement floor is a stylish food hall where you can eat something quickly!
I recommend the Kyoto Tower Hotel
You can also get a discount ticket to the tower's observation deck → it's 400 yen!
The front desk will store your luggage for you and leave it in your room. After checking out, you can use the free lockers (large suitcases are OK)!
The room was renovated and spacious, which was nice!
We booked a room with breakfast, and they also had Tsujiri's cold green tea and roasted green tea.
There were also several sweets in the morning🍰
I was surprised to see Japanese and Western food, pho, and pizza‼ ️
There are also Kyoto vegetables, various obanzai dishes, and pickles, so you can feel the Kyoto atmosphere.
From here,
Sanjusangendo (20 min walk)
National Museum (just a short distance from Sanjusangendo)
Toyokuni Shrine (just a short distance from the National Museum)
Higashi Honganji (about 25 min from Toyokuni Shrine)
You can walk there!
We took a taxi from Higashi Honganji to Toji
The Thousand-Armed Kannon at Sanjusangendo was especially amazing! #KyotoTourism
