Toji Temple, also known as Kyoo Gokokuji Temple, is part of the World Heritage Site. Founded in 794, it is the only remaining national temple in Heian-kyo and is full of history. The Toji Temple during the cherry blossom season is breathtakingly beautiful! The 13-meter-tall, thousand-year-old weeping cherry tree "Fuji Sakura" sways its pink petals when in full bloom, contrasting with the five-story pagoda, and any shot of it will be a blockbuster.
