I wanted to experience the seasonal Japanese afternoon tea at Tea Lounge Hooju, and I also wanted to visit the Four Seasons Afternoon Tea in Kyoto after the two in Tokyo, so I made a reservation here for two consecutive days.

The lounge staff greeted me warmly, asking if I had been there yesterday. They also gave me a corner-side window view seat with a good view of the hotel garden. The day before, I enjoyed looking at this side from across the street, but now I am looking at it from the opposite direction.

It is a new and unique experience. Four Seasons Kyoto was also holding a special event. The staff kindly explained it to me, so I quickly followed along and proceeded. It was called LINE Friends.

If you become the hotel's official LINE friend, you will be given two benefits. First, strawberry cocktails are provided exclusively for LINE friends, and second, you will be given the opportunity to order a glass of champagne for 1,000 yen. I will use both.

And there is even a welcome drink of strawberry tea~~~! The stage becomes fancy even before it starts. Also, the cherry blossom season started the week after I visited, so I made a reservation for the strawberry season, which is 25% off, at around 5,000 yen. 😍

Everything starts off perfectly. The pond, which feels different from yesterday, is more refreshing with the addition of a green forest. The afternoon tea consists of 4 kinds of savory, 2 kinds of scones, and 5 kinds of sweets.

The first tier of the two-tiered tray is occupied by scones, and the second tier is covered with 9 kinds of sweets. The marriage of champagne and savory is nice.👍 The strawberry cocktail also adds vitality to your mouth.

The sweets are interesting in appearance and taste, and they bring out the strawberries well. They go very well with the strongly brewed Dazzling. We also serve espresso, so we make a double shot in one shot.

I was also grateful to the staff who provided meticulous service until the end. I couldn't use PayPay points because the bill was reissued while adding champagne on the spot, but the way back while looking at the garden was beautiful with the wind blowing through the bamboo forest. Thank you.
