🫠Melting Away in Kyoto: Relaxing Spots

Kyoto in July is truly scorching hot. If you're feeling worn out from shopping at department stores in Kyoto, here are some unique cafes to check out.

☕️Good good not bad
This cafe was a delightful find while wandering through the alleys after discovering the cafe I originally intended to visit was closed. It's surprisingly clean, with a small stream flowing in front, creating a lovely atmosphere. The latte here is rich and delicious. However, despite being directed to the restroom, I couldn't locate it and ended up wandering around without success.

🥃GOOD morning RECORD BAR
This is an LP bar with a calm ambiance where you can enjoy drinks, coffee, and light snacks like donuts and sandwiches. I tried the yuzu sour here, which was served in a bottle, allowing me to pour as much as I wanted—such a nice touch! They even offer ice refills. Additionally, if you have paper money, you can write a note or sign it and give it to the staff, who will pin it up on the bar table display. It's a small but charming detail that adds character to the place.

🍵Okaffe ROASTING PARK
Located near my accommodation, this cafe turned out to be spacious with outdoor tables, making it a great spot to visit in spring or autumn. I ordered the matcha latte, which was served on a stylish tray and tasted fantastic. As a roasting cafe, they also sell coffee beans and offer scent sampling. If you enjoy coffee and prefer a tranquil atmosphere, this cafe is worth a visit!
