Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine

Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine is hidden in Nishiki Market and is famous for praying for exams. This is because the shrine is home to the god Tenjin, the god of learning, and there is also a statue of a cow inside the shrine. It is believed that if a visitor is sick anywhere on their body, they should rub that part of their body first, then the statue of the cow in the same part, and it will heal them. When something bad happens, the amulet will take the bad luck instead and the ginkgo will burst.
