Ninna-ji Temple (Kyoto)

#mytraveldiary

Ninna-ji Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but what struck me most was its atmosphere of quiet dignity. Unlike the busier temples of Kyoto, it felt spacious and calm. The five-story pagoda stood tall against the sky, while the gardens radiated simplicity. I learned that the temple is famous for its late-blooming cherry blossoms, called Omuro-zakura. Seeing the temple grounds glowing with these blossoms was unforgettable. There’s also a sense of imperial history here, as it was once closely tied to the royal family. A perfect blend of beauty and serenity. #mytraveldiary
