First time at Kiyomizudera, the pure water temple in Kyoto.

Kiyomizu-dera (Pure Water Temple), also known as the Kiyomizu Temple, is located on Mount Otowa in eastern Kyoto. It is one of Kyoto's most famous tourist attractions. It is now part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The main building of Kiyomizu-dera is designated a National Treasure of Japan. The temple's name, which means "pure water," comes from the waterfall that flows down the hillside onto the temple grounds.
Sacredness:
It is believed that the waters of these three sacred waterfalls grant those who drink them:
1st: Blessings for academic success and success;
2nd: Blessings for love and fulfillment in marriage.
3rd: Blessings for good health and longevity. #TravelJapan
