A Day in Arashiyama: Kyoto’s Scenic Retreat

A day in Arashiyama was one of the most memorable parts of my Kyoto trip. Strolling along the Katsura River, I admired the serene flow of water and the iconic Togetsukyo Bridge framed by lush mountains. The peaceful temples and beautifully maintained gardens added a sense of timelessness to the visit. I especially enjoyed the calm atmosphere, where history and nature blend seamlessly. From exploring traditional streets to soaking in breathtaking landscapes, Arashiyama is the perfect retreat from Kyoto’s busy center—a place where every corner feels like a scene from a painting.
