Kyoto|Please go to Tofuku-ji! Few people and beautiful maple leaves

After returning from the National Day holiday, I haven't had time to organize my Japan materials. Today, flipping through the photos, I still feel I must share this treasure place—Tofuku-ji!

I was prepared for the crowds at Kiyomizu-dera and Fushimi Inari Shrine, but Suzy found this nearby temple using Google Maps. After going there: it was amazing!

There were really few people! We went during the National Day holiday, and at around 9 a.m., we only met a few Westerners. It was like a completely different world compared to other attractions!

📍Super convenient location, accessible by JR, right next to Fushimi Inari Shrine;

🍁The garden is a classic Japanese style, full of maple trees.
Unfortunately, when we went during National Day, the leaves had just started turning yellow. Imagine how stunning it would be when they are fully red in late November to early December, covering the mountains and valleys!

🎫I recommend buying the 1000 yen pass, which includes the garden and Tsutenkyo Bridge. It's very worth it.

If you get tired from walking, there is a highly rated old shop "mimi" with a 4.9 rating on Google right outside. Their pudding is delicious, and the soy milk latte is pretty good too. You can sit down and rest there (it's fun—the owner is just one person, and when it gets busy, they immediately put up a "closed" sign).

In short, if you hate crowds and want to see authentic Japanese maple leaf scenery, Tofuku-ji is definitely worth it!
