Yasaka Shrine⛩️

In Kyoto, we chose Okamoto Kimono Shop near Yasaka Shrine, and you can make a reservation on their official website.
This shop is one of the most popular kimono rental brands in Kyoto, offering a wide variety of styles and options.
I picked a gentle blue cherry blossom design, and my boyfriend chose a deep brown tone, which complemented each other perfectly with one soft and one steady look.
However, a small regret was that the hairstyle was a bit flat and lacked styling, making the overall look less layered. (I suggest bringing dry shampoo or washing your hair once more in advance if time allows.)
Since we arrived late, the staff reminded us that the clothes must be returned by 5:50 PM,
otherwise, a late fee would be charged, which made our shooting schedule very tight.
If you wear wooden clogs, the shop provides disposable two-toe socks, but walking in wooden clogs is really uncomfortable—your toes get rubbed raw on uphill and downhill!
We hired a photographer who used a Fujifilm camera throughout, and the original photos have a gentle and clean tone, giving a dreamy story feeling of "Kyoto in the Rain."
