Fushimi Inari Shrine

One of the most visited shrines in Japan. A standard place for school trips.

It is the most prestigious Inari shrine in the country. The number of torii gates donated is also amazing.

Visitors have returned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Considering the number of foreign tourists visiting, this may be the maximum number in the current situation.

I feel like I'm recharged when I go through the thousand torii gates. It's close to Kyoto Station, so it's a great place to stop by when sightseeing in Kyoto. If you're taking the train, be careful because only local trains on both JR and Keihan lines stop here.
