Day 1: Amanohashidate and Funaya in Ine
First, enjoy the spectacular view of Amanohashidate, famous as one of the Three Views of Japan. Climbing up to Viewland and doing the "Mata Nozoki" is also a famous sight! After that, move to Funaya in Ine and take a leisurely cruise to enjoy the view of the Funaya. The quiet sea and the rows of old Funaya are so charming that it feels like time has stopped, and you are sure to feel relaxed.
Day 2: Kurama and Kifune
If you want to enjoy nature, head to Kurama Temple. Take the cable car to this temple, tucked away in the mountains, and feel the pure air. From there, recharge your energy with a hike up Mount Kurama! The road from Kurama to Kifune is perfect for forest bathing. Don't forget to pay your respects to the god of water at Kifune Shrine and enjoy lunch on the riverbed.
Day 3: Arashiyama and Bamboo Forest Kokai
Finally, take a leisurely stroll along the Bamboo Forest Path and Togetsukyo Bridge in Arashiyama. If you're looking for a unique experience after enjoying the natural beauty of Arashiyama, try the fantastical art at Bamboo Forest Kokai. This mysterious space offers a special experience where Japanese tradition and modern art are fused together while surrounded by a bamboo forest.
It's definitely worth a visit✨
