The traditional "Lantern Hanging" event at Wat Phra That Hariphunchai Woramahawihan in Lamphun Province is part of the "Hundred Thousand Lanterns Festival," held to pay homage to Phra That Hariphunchai and to honor Queen Chamadevi. It's considered Lamphun's grandest and most beautiful festival.
