Visiting Langkawi, officially known as Langkawi, the Jewel of Kedah, was a dream come true. This duty-free island, an archipelago of 99 islands (plus five smaller ones visible only at low tide), is located about 30 km off the coast of northwestern Malaysia. The island's pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and lush greenery created a paradise-like atmosphere.
