Jokhang Temple in Lhasa

Jokhang Temple is one of the most famous temples in Lhasa and a must-visit attraction for every traveler to the city. Upon entering the temple, you are immediately enveloped by a sacred atmosphere. Whether it's the incense-filled halls or the corridors echoing with chanting, the strong religious ambiance is palpable. What captivated me the most was the statue of Sakyamuni Buddha enshrined within the temple, a treasure brought by Princess Wencheng, said to hold immense religious significance. Here, you can not only admire the unique Tibetan architecture but also witness devoted believers circumambulating and prostrating in front of the temple. The entire experience fills you with a sense of peace and strength.
