Overview

- Location: Located in Gucheng District, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, in the middle of Lijiang Dam, with the central geographical coordinates of 100°13′27.70″E and 26°52′50.43″N.

- History: Built in the late Song and early Yuan dynasties, it flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and has undergone development and changes in many historical periods. It was listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1997.

- Ethnic culture: Centered on the Dongba culture of the Naxi people, it integrates the cultures of the Han, Tibetan, Bai, and other ethnic minorities, forming a pattern of coexistence of multiple ethnic cultures.
