Beautiful landscape of Jade Snow Mountain 🏔

Getting There - You can get there by Didi taxi 🚕 but I strongly recommend you book a day trip from an activity center located in Lijiang’s old town or simply ask your hotel 🏨 if they can book it for you.
To give you a pricing idea, we paid 350RMB for shared van there and back, ticket entrance to Jade Snow Mountain and Blue Moon Valley, free rental of jacket, one oxygen canister, cable car ticket and free local chinese lunch!

Attractions - When you arrive, you will first visit Blue Moon Valley! The scenery is stunning 🤩 The water is an amazing blue color and a great place to just relax and enjoy nature. We went on a cloudy day ☁️ and the view was still amazing.

You will then take the bus to the cable car 🚠 ! We went on a really cloudy day so unfortunately we couldn’t see anything at the top of the mountain. I’d strongly recommend to check the weather before booking. Nonetheless, it was still worth it. You don’t necessarily need the oxygen canister, if you feel dizzy, just sit or take a short break and then you can continue walking up.

Food & Restaurants - In the main lobby of Jade Snow Mountain, there is a KFC if you need a quick coffee ☕️ or meal. If you book a package, you will have a free lunch included which was local delicacies, including Yak meat and Yak milk tea 🧋

Shopping - If you’re interested, you can purchase small souvenirs at the lobby of the Jade Snow Mountain

Overall, I’d definitely recommend to do both activities during the same day! #nature #urbanexplorer #naturalwonders
