Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, 📍Lijiang

During my trip in Yunnan, we went to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang which was an extraordinarily adventure and the highlight of my trip 😍

Its best to book the tickets a day in advance as they sell out pretty quick during open season especially during the summer holidays. We manage to contact a local tour guide and spent 650 rmb which including the Blue Moon Lake, the cultural Performance and the visit to the Snow Mountain as well as the rented coats and oxygen tanks which trust me is necessary as the higher up the mountain, the less oxygen and you feel it when your walking up the stairs, and 5 mins breaks inbetween is essentials..

The ideal way to do the trip, is to visit the Moon Lake Valley first in the morning and then watch the performance show, i would advise go up the mountain around 3:30 pm as the queues for the cableway is shorter and you get up 4300 Feet in 20 mins. At this time it’s not much crowded and you tend to get better pictures, people mentioned it would be cold but mind you the sun was fully out and it was pretty much warm then cold 🤩

Enjoy your trip and plan way ahead as you need to wake up at 7:30 and get prepared, drink plenty of fluids.
