Don’t want to think? Just copy this one-day Jade Dragon Snow Mountain itinerary!
Tested for efficiency + saving money + checking all the scenic spots, just follow it!
🚐 Transportation Recommendations
✅ On the way there: Take bus 101 from Zhongyi Market (15 RMB) directly to the scenic area, hassle-free
✅ On the way back: Take bus 101 from the Visitor Center back to the Old Town, last bus at 18:00 (overtime buses may run later)
❌ Avoid: Private cars are prone to price hikes, public buses are the most reliable!
🎫 How to Buy Tickets to Save the Most
💰 Total cost reference: Ticket 100 + Main Cableway 140 + Yak Meadow 65 + Blue Moon Valley free = 305 RMB/person
✨ Ticket buying tips:
Grab Main Cableway tickets 7 days in advance! Be ready at 8 PM sharp!
Yak Meadow/Spruce Meadow tickets at 9 PM, easier to get due to fewer people
When buying multiple cableway tickets, the system automatically deducts the bus fee, don’t buy it twice!
📍 Efficient Lazy Route
⏰ Follow this timeline exactly:
5:40|Wake up (Hang in there, the sunrise on the mountain is worth it!)
6:10|Taxi to “Swiss Style Garden,” walk 100 meters to capture the snow mountain reflection 🌅
7:30|Have breakfast at the cableway entrance, wait for ticket check at 9:00
9:20|Climb the snow mountain, walk slowly to 4680 meters for a check-in
11:00|Descend and take a bus to Yak Meadow
12:30|Shoot epic grassland photos at Yak Meadow, the view is amazing 📸
14:50|Play in the water and rest at Blue Moon Valley (get off at Shuiyue Pavilion Station!)
16:30|Take the bus back, perfect ending!
💡 Key Notes
❗️ Main Cableway tickets are hard to get! Set an alarm 7 days in advance
❗️ Get off at “Shuiyue Pavilion Station” for Blue Moon Valley to save 2 kilometers of walking!
❗️ Choose either Yak Meadow or Spruce Meadow, Yak Meadow is recommended for fewer people and better scenery
❗️ Wear sunglasses and sunscreen, the UV rays on the snow mountain are very strong!
