🌟Highlights: The site of the Western Hainan Island Liberation Command Post (Duoxian School) is located at Duoxian School in Duoxian Village, Bolian Town. Duoxian School was built in 1928 with funds raised by the villagers. The school faces southwest and is a three-sided courtyard-style schoolhouse with a wooden structure. It is simple and elegant, with strong local characteristics. In April 1950, after the People's Liberation Army crossed the Qiongzhou Strait and landed at Lingao Cape, Han Xianchu, deputy commander of the 12th Corps and commander of the 40th Army, led his troops to Duoxian Village.
Duoxian School is a cultural protection unit with both general historical significance and special functions. It carries the hopes and expectations of generations of local villagers, as well as the function of a command post for the liberation war. It witnessed the glorious deeds of the liberation of Hainan Island and holds precious memories for many local teachers and students.
The attraction is a key cultural relic protection unit in Lingao County.
