🥾【Family Hiking Route】

This time, we took an 8-year-old child on the hiking route: Guanyin Cave - Iron Chain Bridge - Tongyue Gorge - Tiger’s Nest - Mandarin Duck Rock - Zhaiqing - Main Peak. The whole route is about 10 kilometers. We walked and played along the way, reaching the summit in 4 hours (including breaks and meals). We took the cable car down, enjoying the hiking fun without too much fatigue.

🏕️【Accommodation and Dining Tips】

Recommended to stay in mountain cabins, 200-300 RMB per night, perfect for stargazing with kids at night

Zhaiqing offers simple meals and stir-fried dishes; there are supply points along the hike, but it’s best to bring enough water and energy snacks

👕【Family Gear Checklist】

Essential non-slip hiking shoes for grip on some sections

Quick-dry clothes for kids to prevent chills after sweating

Windbreaker is a must due to large temperature differences between morning and evening

Bring hiking poles to help kids save energy

Wuyuezhai’s hiking trails not only build kids’ perseverance but also let them experience the joy of conquering mountains! The smile on your child’s face at the summit is the greatest reward~
