Shengsi | Watch the Sea, Feel the Breeze, and Party Freely

Whenever thereโ€™s a holiday, I gather a few friends to find a great place and have a memorable vacation.

Of course, the best part of Shengsi is enjoying seafood while complaining about the seemingly terrible but still bearable daily life. After venting, we go back to continue living. The meaning of travel is probably to bring back the good mood from each trip to resist the little setbacks of reality.

๐Ÿš• Departure from Shanghai: Purchase a combined bus and ferry ticket at the Nanpu Bridge Tourism Distribution Center, go to Xiaoyangshan Port, get off and board the ferry to Shengsi Passenger Terminal;
๐Ÿ“ Jihu Beach Night Scene: A famous seaside bathing beach on Shengsi Island, perfect for swimming, wading, and enjoying a romantic beach.
๐Ÿ“ Liujingtan: Located at the easternmost tip of Shengsi, it faces the rocky cliffs of the busy East China Sea and is the best spot to watch the sunrise. There is a well-maintained wooden boardwalk along the coast and a white lighthouse on the cliff, fulfilling all your imaginations of island charm.

๐Ÿ“ Dabeishan: The top is an observation deck, and below is a temple named after the great compassion of Guanyin in Buddhist culture. It is located in the eastern part of Shengsi Island. From the mountaintop, you can overlook the two major beaches, Jihu and Nanchangtu. At the foot of the mountain is an East China Sea fishing village with a small beach but many food stalls.
