The best city for family trips during the summer vacation has appeared so far

Beachcombing and feeding fish + digging sand and soaking in the hotel, easy and not tiring for the kids! Every summer vacation, I have to bring the kids to Hainan🌊 Sanya and Lingshui～

This 5️⃣ days 4️⃣ nights itinerary is a direct homework copy! Digging sand🏝️, beachcombing🐚, watching the glass sea💦, feeding manta rays🐟, bathing land turtles🛁…

DAY1️⃣: Island landing and feeding manta rays · First experience at Boundary Island🌴
- Morning: Take a boat to the island (10-minute boat ride), head straight to the manta ray interaction area (the slippery touch makes kids both scared and loving it), feed sea turtles🐢 and giant groupers🐟 at the marine theater～
- Afternoon: Take a sightseeing car around the island, eat coconut ice cream under the shade, collect shells🐚, drink cliff coffee
- Evening: Leave the island and check in at Qingshui Bay Hotel, take a walk on the beach

DAY2️⃣: Land turtle base rush🐢 + Xincun Wharf sea trip🚢
- Morning: Trust me! Bathing and feeding the turtles, kids will definitely love it～
- Afternoon: Charter a boat from Xincun Wharf for 200 RMB, enjoy sea urchin freedom, all you catch can be processed directly at the wharf for 5 RMB each, kids caught lots of starfish and loved it, can take them home as specimens
⚠️ When the fishing boat returns to the wharf, you can buy some seafood again, 🦞 big green lobsters 90 RMB each, 🦐 mantis shrimp 50 RMB per jin, large abalone 6 RMB each, tiger grouper 70 RMB each (about 3-4 jin)～

DAY3️⃣: Daidai Island photo shoot or R&F Ocean World · choose one
📸 Option A: Daidai Island pink bus + white swing, super photogenic
🎠 Option B: R&F Ocean World → ride the South China Sea train + polar pavilion to see penguins🐧 + children's water slide
🍜 Dinner: Optional fermented vinegar hotpot (sour and spicy to stimulate appetite, kids can choose clear soup)

DAY4️⃣ Qingshui Bay sand digging + Xincun fishing raft
- Morning: Qingshui Bay "singing beach" walk barefoot on the squeaky flour sand, ride the popular small train🚚 (I stayed at Qingshui Bay Hotel, just downstairs is the beach🏖️)
- Afternoon: Lingzai Village beachcombing (arrive 1 hour before low tide! Starfish everywhere) or Xiaochiling digging sand crabs🦀️, collecting shells🐚
- Evening: Eat directly at Xincun night market～grilled oysters are super cool

DAY5⃣️: Hotel pool soaking + duty-free shopping
- Morning: Hotel family activities → pool slide / small train / DIY crafts
- Afternoon: Sanya International Duty-Free City (children’s area has a playground, so parents can shop without worries)

👶 Tips for preschool kids
1️⃣ Transportation: Lingshui attractions are scattered, renting a car and driving yourself is the most convenient (bring a child safety seat), for taxis choose Didi, there are many cars
2️⃣ Beachcombing: Download the "Tide Elf" APP to check low tide times, prepare plastic buckets/gloves to prevent scratches, kids wear water shoes
3️⃣ Eating: Choose steamed/boiled seafood, slightly spicy sour noodles to remove sandworms, kids love Qingbuliang with coconut milk

Avoid the crowds in Sanya, Lingshui’s glass sea and slow pace are the ultimate for family trips🌊
