Although the operating hours are listed as 9:00am-9:00pm, it started opening slightly after 9:00am. There was a short wait, and the lack of clear guidance caused some unease.

The Santa Justa Elevator, completed in 1902, is an iconic vertical elevator in Lisbon designed to connect the Baixa district with the uphill districts (Chiado and Carmo). Featuring a unique Gothic-style iron structure, it offers a stunning exterior. From the observation deck at the top, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Lisbon's city center, the Tagus River, and the Praça do Comércio.
