Guilin: Longsheng sunrise at rice terraces

Longsheng is famous for its beautiful rice terraced fields and ethnic villages in mountainous areas. The well-known Longji Rice Terraced Fields were built along the mountains slopes wind from the riverside up to the mountain top.
You need to take a bus from Guilin to Longsheng to get here. it’s a perfect place for a relaxation. Just enjoy the scenery, observe the local people and they are lifestyle. Wake up early in the morning and go to watch the beautiful sunset that you will not probably see anywhere else. Local food is amazingly fresh and delicious.
We went there in the end of May when the fields were filled with water which reflected the sky and the sun. As for me I think it’s the best time to observe the terraces.
